why organic?

the geoskincare range is certified organic and manufactured to the highest organic standards. for us, being certified organic means providing products and ingredients which not only work but are safe and healthy to the entire body and skin.

certified organic products are produced without using synthetic chemicals, sprays, pesticides when growing and harvesting plants and using sustainable practices that supports the environment.  with certified organic products there is complete traceability at each step of the process to ensure all ingredients are pure and chemical free.

organic is the term given to the process of growing, raising, manufacturing plants and products in a specific way. organic systems are focused on the health of the soil, plants, environment and ultimately the end user.

certified organic products are independently audited with complete traceability from where raw materials are grown, harvested and then eventually manufactured. 

is there a difference between 'natural' products and 'organic' products?
yes! ‘natural’ has become quite a buzzword, however natural has no legal definition and doesn’t really mean anything anymore. one person’s view of what natural is could be completely different from the next person's. many ‘natural’ skincare brands actually use synthetic chemicals like phenoxyethanol in their products, whilst actively promoting them as natural. there is also very little traceability with natural products – although they seem to come from a natural source, they may have been harvested and processed using toxic and dangerous chemicals.
